Mike Patton has been working on the soundtrack to a Netflix film “1922”, based on the Stephen King novella. The film now has a release date.
Earlier in the year, Mike Patton revealed that he’d been working on the soundtrack to the upcoming adaptation of a Stephen King novella called “1922”. The film now has a premiere date and will be shown at Fantastic Fest from the 21st to the 28th of September.
Here’s how the film is being advertised:
1922 is based on Stephen King’s 131-page story telling of a man’s confession of his wife’s murder. The tale is told from from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story’s unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, he becomes convinced his wife is haunting him.
Alongside Mike Patton on the film is Zak Hilditch as Director and co-writer, and Thomas Jane (recently in The Expanse and in the upcoming Predator remake) and Molly Parker (House of Cards and Deadwood) in the lead roles.
This won’t be the first time that works featuring Mike Patton’s will be shown at Fantastic Fest, last year The Absence of Eddy Table was part of the festival.
